Writing

A scene is sentences, not a list of adjectives

Place, distance, one object. Keep only the features later lines will name.

Place and distance first

Under the eaves in the rain, before the train doors shut, mask still on. A place gives the next sentence somewhere to go.

How many steps apart, and what is between them. Distance is more specific than “the mood is tense”.

Keep features that will be named

A scar, where an old injury sits, which hand they use. Put that in the library. Hair color once is enough. Rewriting it every chapter makes it drift.

Images and text you upload must be yours to use. Lustra does not generate a character photo for you.

One object holds the scene

An umbrella not closed, tea gone cold, a ticket with a name. An object is easier for the next chapter to pick up than a mood noun.

If the object must survive the chapter, write who is holding it now.
