Chapters

A long story: chapters, words, rewrite

No chapter cap. Words are spent as daily free, rewards, gifts, then purchases.

One new event per chapter

Each chapter moves once: a decision, a broken appointment, something said aloud. The same conversation in a circle is not a chapter.

Chapters continue, or branch from any chapter. The old chapter stays on the shelf.

How words are spent

Writing spends words in this order: daily free, rewards, gifts, purchases. The app balance is the balance.

Becoming an author grants 5,000 words. A guest gets 2,000 words a day. A seven-day streak pays 2,000, then 2,400, 2,800, 3,200, 3,600, 4,000, and 4,500. Missing a day drops one level.

Rewrite the chapter you dislike

Rewrite that chapter. Change the tone or the turn. Keep the previous version until you have compared them.

If the setting is wrong, change the library first, then rewrite. A rewrite of the prose still reads the old setting next chapter.
